Our hearts go out to those friends and neighbors that have had their lives uprooted by the terrible storm that ripped through our area on 5-8-09. We will keep you in our thoughts and prayers! We are standing by to help those unfortunate souls that have had a complete loss due to this severe weather event. We give you our commitment that we will do what we do better than anybody to get you back into a home that will withstand the effects of these type of storms better than normal site built construction. We are located in a neighborhood that took the full effects of the storm and we only lost a few ridge cap shingles. We are very grateful for coming through in such good shape! Our neighbors to the south (Drury Inn) lost part of their roof. Our neighbors to the west (Country Inn & Suites) lost approximately 20% to 25% of their roof on the back half of their hotel. The neighbor to our northeast (17th St BBQ) lost approximately 75% of their roof on the front side of their building. We wish all of them good luck in their repairs.
It is really heartwarming to watch the true concern and outpouring of love that has beeen displayed throughout all of Southern illinois! We stand ready to do our part!
